2023 is finally coming to an end, and this newsletter edition will be the last for this year.
It also means inevitable yearly reflection and new year goal setting.
We all want 2024 to be the year, the one where everything clicks and fits perfectly (me included).
But, the real question is how do we actually make that happen?
Well, I've got some good news for you: I have compiled together all the small, intentional steps that you need to take to set 2024 up for success.
Here are a few exercises you can do before 2024 hits; to guarantee your best year yet:
➡️ Wheel of Life: Take a moment to rate your satisfaction in key areas like health, career, relationships, and more. Rate yourself out of 10. By doing this you will get a clear picture of what's going well in your life and where to focus your energy next year.
Here is a template that you can print out for this exercise:

➡️ Celebrate Your Wins: No matter how big or small, acknowledge your achievements from the past year. Make a list, savor the feeling of victory, and let it fuel your confidence for the upcoming year. Count even the smallest lot as well.
➡️ 2023 Reflection: We all face challenges, but it's the "aha" moments that make us realise what worked and what didn’t. List down things that helped you learn and grow:
Here are some journal prompts to help you with your yearly reflection:
2023 was the year of _______________________
What were your biggest wins from the year?
Your biggest accomplishment?
What are you proud of yourself for?
What were your biggest challenges from the year?
What lessons are you carrying forward from 2023?
How would you describe the version of yourself in 2023?
In what ways have you grown this year?
Did you prioritize on exercise, sleep, and nutrition? How much will you rate yourself out of 10?
Did you set up boundaries this year or follow any routine? What were the results?
Bonus prompt: What mindset did you carry throughout 2023?
➡️ Identify your self-limiting beliefs: This should be a part of your reflection practice too as it allows you to understand what is holding you back.
Here’s a list of limiting beliefs you can look through to identify what's stopping you from growing. Remember, knowing and understanding these will help you work in the right direction.

➡️ Vision Board Remix: Once the reflection is done, time to dream big!
Create a new digital vision board and fill it with the goals and affirmations that you wish to manifest for 2024.
Once done, use it as a laptop wallpaper or even phone counts too. The purpose of this visual board is to act as a reminder to keep you motivated and on track throughout the year.

➡️ Declutter to reset: Declutter your life to make space for new things. This includes physical spaces like your home and closet, but also your emotional and digital spaces too. Let go of negativity, limiting beliefs, and anything that's holding you back from growing.
➡️ Start a visualization + gratitude practice: In one of her podcasts, Dr. Tara Swart - a leading neuroscientist mentioned, that if she could tell people to start doing one thing to improve every aspect of their life; it would be to start visualizing themselves as the person they want to be, followed by saying the affirmations out loud.
Another thing that she heavily emphasized was giving gratitude.
When you show gratitude, you shift your brain from a state of fear/ or fight toward a state of trust and that’s what opens the gateway; to make any lasting changes in your life.
Remember, creating your best year ever is all about intentional action and a positive mindset.
